The United States adjusts tariffs on various mineral products

On September 5 local time, according to a statement from the White House, U.S. President Trump signed an executive order to adjust the scope of import tariffs and implement a new policy on the trade and security framework agreement with foreign trading partners, which will officially take effect next Monday. According to media reports, this tariff adjustment covers goods from several key sectors. In addition to gold, a range of minerals used in high-tech and critical industries has also received tariff exemptions. These include critical materials such as graphite and tungsten, which are widely used in aerospace, consumer electronics, medical devices, and other technological fields. Uranium has also been included in the exemption list, along with some metals that are expected to receive tariff exemptions as well.
