Significant breakthrough in tin ore exploration in DRC

Recently, Rome Resources made a major breakthrough in its Kalayi tin exploration program in North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

According to Rome Resources, the first two of their 12 diamond drill holes at the Kalayi tin exploration project have successfully intersected significant tin mineralization. One of them, drill hole KBDD005, intersected a 0.6-metre-thick zone of 4.05% tin mineralization at a depth of 87 metres, while another 0.6-metre-thick zone of 3.05% tin mineralization was intersected at a deeper depth of 111.9 metres. These discoveries not only prove the abundance of tin resources in the area, but also provide a solid foundation for future tin mining by Roman Resources.

It is important to note that these new discoveries echo the results of previous drilling, with hole KBDD003, as part of earlier drilling, having intersected a 12-metre-thick zone of 1.06% tin mineralization at a depth of 40.5 metres, as well as a 2.3-metre-thick zone of 1.92% tin mineralization at a depth of 70.7 metres. These earlier drill results have provided strong evidence of the viability of the Kaleyi Tin Project and this latest discovery further enhances the attractiveness of the project.

Roma Resources is highly satisfied with the results of this exploration and believes it will help drive further development and production at the project. They plan to continue their exploration efforts in order to have a more comprehensive understanding of the distribution of tin resources in the area and to formulate a mining plan accordingly. This initiative is not only expected to bring considerable economic returns to Roma Resources, but will also inject new vitality into the development of the mining industry in the DRC.
